Varun started his career as a hip-hop dancer in the year 2000 in Chandigarh. he got exposed to various dance styles in his journey and developed his love for latin dancing in 2005. He did a certified trainers program with Kaytee (SIDC) and undewent training with more than 20 international and national instructors through various workshops, private lessons, festivals and group classes. He still continue to undergo training every year to keep up the level of dance matched with International standards.
He started spreading the Salsa Bug around the north region of India with various workshops, classes, events for all the aspiring salseros of north India. Also is the founder of Club Salsa India, which promotes Salsa nights, workshops, parties, events and everything related to latin dancing in north India.
Barsha is trained in Indian classical and Folk dancing for more then 5 years in Chandigarh. She joined Varun as a partner in Dandiya and then soon developed her love for western / latin dancing. Barsha is the only Instructor in North India to teach Indian Classical, Folk, Bollywood, Salsa, Latin Ballroom, Hip-Hop and Contemporary dancing for all age groups. She has been the leading lady for VDS/CSI and is the backbone of the company.
Barsha and Varun together have bagged many prizes as Choreographers, Dancers, Instructors and Event Organizers throughout the country and even represented India at the International platforms.
